Legal Expenses
The Computer Contractors Legal Expenses policy gives you the power, through its
level of cover of up to £50,000 of legal costs per claim, access to 24-hour
helplines and to professional advice through a nationwide panel of specialist
solicitors.

accountants fees to represent you in an in-depth investigation by the
Revenue or Customs & Excise.
Legal Defence - Provides legal costs and expenses for defence and
appeals in respect of civil and criminal proceedings for both you and your
employees.
Data Protection - Provides legal costs and expenses for representation
and defence proceedings brought under the Data Protection Act.
Employment Disputes - Provides legal costs and expenses in defending
civil or criminal proceedings and appeals for companies with more than 1 employee.

Personal Accident, Sickness and Travel Insurance
Caunce O'Hara has developed a scheme to provide financial assistance should you
suffer from an injury or sickness. This policy can also incorporate exceptionally
good value business cover for traveling worldwide (£67.50 per annum) in any one
year and holiday travel cover extension for you, your spouse and/or dependent
children (£35.00 per annum).
The accident and sickness cover is particular good value (starting at £115.60 per annum)
and pays out £150 a week for up to 52 weeks (e.g. £7,800) after 7 days deferred
period - There is no medical underwriting required either. Many contractors take
this out in conjunction with Income Protection/PHI Insurance which pays out higher
amounts in the event of a claim.
This policy is designed for an individual Computer Contractor who would suffer
financial hardship if he or she suffered from an injury or sickness, and which
prevented he or she from carrying out their normal duties.
